Job Summary
The Lead Game Programmer will be responsible for designing and implementing gameplay solutions for AAA titles. They will take ownership of major gameplay features, manage and mentor a team of programmers, and conduct code reviews. The role involves writing clean, reusable code, providing time estimates, and collaborating with other departments. The ideal candidate will identify areas for improvement and ensure the team meets all requirements. They will have a deep understanding of game development and a passion for the industry, particularly in the FPP genre.
Must Have
- Experience developing and maintaining large gameplay systems for AAA titles.
- Excellent knowledge of C++ and experience with version control systems.
- Experience in leading and mentoring development teams and performing code reviews.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with C++ Standard Library.
- Cross-platform experience.
- Knowledge of the latest titles and trends, especially in FPP games.
- Understanding of rules and problems connected with playability in FPP/TPP games.

Job Description
- designing and implementing robust and innovative gameplay solutions for our titles,
- taking ownership of major gameplay features,
- managing a team of highly skilled game programmers,
- mentoring and motivating team members, delivering detailed code reviews,
- writing clean, robust, reusable code and create all necessary technical documentation,
- providing time estimates and task breakdowns,
- helping the team to meet all necessary requirements (functionality, scope, performance etc.),
- cooperating closely with other departments (design, animation, etc),
- constantly identifying areas for improvement and driving all changes that are required.
Qualifications
- experience in developing, implementing and maintaining large gameplay systems/mechanics for AAA titles,
- excellent knowledge of C++,
- familiarity with C++ Standard Library and version control systems,
- cross-platform experience,
- experience in leading and mentoring development teams,
- experience with code reviews,
- authentic passion for games as well as knowledge of the latest titles and trends, especially in FPP games,
- understanding of rules and problems connected with playability in FPP/TPP games,
- excellent organization and time management skills,
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
- very good command of English.
