About the Team ByteDance Networking brings together innovative ideas and technologies from network architecture, software-defined networking (SDN), network virtualisation, switch software and hardware co-design, and high-speed networking, to create hyperscale data-center networking solutions that power several of the most popular apps of the world such as Douyin and TikTok which serve hundreds of millions of users around the globe. ByteDance Networking is responsible for designing, building, and operating the global, intelligent network infrastructure to meet the requirements of high availability, scalability, and high-performance. By joining this team, you will gain marketable software development and/or network operation experiences in data center networking on a massive scale. Responsibilities - Responsible for building, delivery and daily operation of ByteDance's public cloud infrastructure - Responsible for high level and low level design, road-map and standardisation of ByteDance's public cloud infrastructure - Responsible for automation and cloud architecture optimisation - Drive to improve satisfaction for both internal and external customers - As a team member, support ByteDance's global network infrastructure operations - Deploy and configure solutions in the cloud. - Automate cloud operations, develop infrastructure automation scripts and participates in the continuous improvement of cloud solutions. - Participate in the specification, setup and run Proof of Concepts and demonstrations of cloud solutions. - Administer and maintain servers across virtual platforms.

Minimum Qualifications: - Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, such as ISIS, BGP, overlay technologies such as Vxlan, familiar with hyper-scale datacenter and backbone architecture - Familiar with Linux system and virtualisation technologies, such as kvm, xen, hyper-v, lxc, etc. - Rich hands and troubleshooting experiences, especially in a complex environment - Self-motivated, good communication and written skills. - Team player and participate in Bytedance network global on call rotation. - English Language is required for communication with overseas colleagues Preferred Qualification - Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant field - Candidate with public cloud building & operations experience is preferred ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
