This role involves providing network expertise and operational support across the business, working with various stakeholders like Service Delivery Managers, IT Architects, and Systems Administrators. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day network incidents and service requests, ensuring resolution within Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and handling network change communications according to Cubic's change control framework. The engineer will monitor network health using tools like SolarWinds, perform daily health checks, and rectify potential issues. They will also install and commission network infrastructure, administer protocols such as MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and IPSEC, and maintain network documentation. The position requires recommending new network equipment, managing customer project deliverables, and providing 3rd line support, including out-of-hours on-call duties.
