Job Description

The purpose of this role is to drive healthcare professionals’ endorsement of Haleon brands, combining responsibility for setting up cluster and country strategy based on Export Markets one and its excellent implementation. The person provides local insight and input, translating content and plans into the local context for smooth strategy implementation. This role cooperates closely with local Digital Activation Manager, F2F Engagement Expert Manager, as well as Country Sales Managers and Marketing Managers to deliver impactful plans for expert activities. The focus is on understanding HCPs insights, claims, and channel choices for expert activities by brand.
Must have:
  • Understand expert local insights and key barriers of Haleon brands advocacy.
  • Understand competitive activities and their impact on expert advocacy in Cluster.
  • Define top claims and RTBs for mindset shift and Advocacy KPIs delivery.
  • Define most effective connection channels with defined HCPs targets.
  • Adapt global/CEE toolkits to local needs.
  • Oversee and optimize the expert budget and phasing.
  • Influence stakeholders to ensure buy-in to strategies and plans.
  • Build powerful relationships with Marketing, Medical and CEE Marketing Team.
  • University Degree preferably in Healthcare or Life Sciences.
  • Fluent English.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in expert marketing or marketing with Consumer Healthcare or FMCG companies.
  • Experience in cross-functional cooperation with commercial, marketing functions.
  • Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in matrix organization.
  • Proven track record of problem solving.
  • Strong relationships building.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Results driven, resilience, problem solving and decision making.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of expert trends and solutions on the BU and cluster/country level.
  • Experience managing and cooperating with agencies and vendors.

Job Details

The purpose of this role is to drive healthcare professionals’ endorsement of Haleon brands. This role combines responsibility for setting up cluster and country strategy based on Export Markets one and its excellent implementation.

The person constantly provides local insight and input while also effectively translating content and plans into the local context to ensure a smooth strategy implementation. Cluster Expert Manager cooperates closely with local Digital Activation Manager, F2F Engagement Expert Manager, as well as Country Sales Managers and Marketing Managers to deliver highly effective and business impactful plan for expert activities.

Expert Marketing Manager focus is on right understanding HCPs insights, right claims and channels choice for expert activities by brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand expert local insights and key barriers of Haleon brands advocacy.

  • Understand competitive activities and their impact on expert advocacy in Cluster.

  • Defining top claims and RTBs required to deliver right mindset shift per target and segment, as well as delivery of Advocacy KPIs

  • Definition of the most effective connection channels with defined HCPs targets. Close co-operation with Marketing, Sales and F2F Expert Engagement team, including (and not limited to): face to face, digital, conferences, events

  • Close co-operation with CEE Expert Lead to understand key global/ CEE learnings.

  • Understand objectives and content of globally and CEE developed toolkits. Understand opportunities and challenges with using those locally.

  • Adapt global/ CEE toolkits to local needs.

  • Where required, deliver local expert marketing toolkits, if global/ CEE ones do not meet specific local requirements.

  • Oversees and constantly optimizes the expert budget and budget phasing for the country/cluster.

  • Participates at F2F Expert Engagement briefings and seeks constant feedbacks and understanding of local expert insights

  • Participates in Export Markets Business Reviews and collaborates with marketing teams/ BU to identify and approve mitigating actions to deliver Brand/Brands financial commitments.

  • Effectively influences a number of stakeholders to ensure buy-in to recommended strategies and plans

  • Engages and energizes internal and external stakeholders on the Expert strategy and marketing plans for a the cluster

  • Builds powerful relationships with Marketing, Medical and CEE Marketing Team

Requirements

  • University Degree preferably in Healthcare or Life Sciences

  • Fluent English

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in expert marketing or marketing with Consumer Healthcare or FMCG companies, developing and implementing expert strategies & plans

  • Experience in cross-functional cooperation with commercial, marketing functions

  • Knowledge of expert trends and solutions on the BU level and cluster/country level
