Job Description

Sporty Group seeks a Project Manager to build and execute project plans maximizing team utilization and impact. Responsibilities include translating product vision into actionable plans, leading cross-team collaboration, managing external partners, resource allocation, driving process improvements (ETA accuracy, code quality), providing stakeholder updates, running team meetings, resolving production issues, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate is fluent in English, possesses experience managing teams in Scrum or Waterfall, excels in communication, and has experience defining business requirements in software development. The role offers flexible hours, top-tier equipment, and a collaborative global environment.

Responsibilities

Build project plans that ensure maximum utilization of the team for impact.
Partner with Product to translate their ‘Why?’ into a ‘What? Who? How? and ‘When’ in a cohesive plan.
Where initiatives span multiple internal teams, the Project Manager leads cross-team collaboration, driving alignment and ensuring coordination.
Coordinates the deliverables from external partners as necessary.
Ticket creation and management in support of the roadmap.
Project-level resource assignment and scheduling.
Holds the team to a high bar, creating a culture of constant improvement. In areas such as ETA accuracy and code quality, the Project Manager identifies and drives process improvements.
Provide on-demand, accurate status to stakeholders.
Run all team ceremonies and meetings
Drive resolution of production issues.
Have a keen attention to detail and be proud of their product.

Requirements

Fluent in written and spoken English
Degree or Masters in a business or technology discipline is preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing teams in an scrum or waterfall framework
Experience in defining business requirements in the context of software and application development from a customer viewpoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Experience in working with UI/UX teams

Online Aptitude Test (Max time of 30 Minutes)
Remote video screening with our Talent Acquisition Team 
Remote video interview with 3 x Team Members (45 mins each, not separate days)
24-72 hour feedback loops throughout process

Post Interview Process

Feedback call on successful interview
Offer released, followed by contract
ID Check Via Zinc & 2 references from previous employers
