Based at the Gennevilliers Campus, this role is within the 'Terrestrial Connectivity Solutions' Department, focusing on EDM Solutions for radio programs. The project involves developing and integrating helicopter-embedded radio posts for ground communication. As Technical Project Manager/Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM), you will interface directly with clients (DGA), industry partners, and technical teams. You are a key member of the Integrated Project Team, responsible for managing costs, planning, and quality of engineering deliverables. Your duties include defining development strategy, overseeing project progress with KPIs, and managing risks and opportunities. Occasional travel to Cholet and the 'aircraft manufacturer' site is required.
Must have:

Your daily life

The Gennevilliers Campus is the heart of design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radio communications, resilient network and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is quickly accessible by public transport.

You will join, under the responsibility of the Department Director, the "Terrestrial Connectivity Solutions" Department, which includes, among others, the EDM Solution (execution and offers) for French, Export, and Legacy radio programs in the terrestrial domain.

The project you will be working on aims to equip forces with helicopter-embedded radio posts to communicate with deployed ground forces. It involves developing this solution and then supporting its integration on carriers.

As the Technical Project Manager/Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM) Solution for this project, you will interface directly with the client (DGA), the carrier manufacturer and partners, as well as with the Solution technical teams and those delivering the Solution elements.

As a major member of the Integrated Project Team (20 people) and a key player in the Project Core Team, you will form a major trio with the Project Manager and the Project Design Authority. More specifically, you will:

  • Be responsible for adhering to costs, planning, and the quality of project engineering activities and deliverables.
  • Define the development strategy and the Engineering environment (adaptation of standard processes, practices, and tools).
  • Manage the progress of the entire development using a dashboard based on relevant KPIs.
  • Ensure risk and opportunity management.

Occasional travel to Cholet and the "aircraft manufacturer" site is to be expected.

Your profile

  • Engineer/Bac+5 degree, you have at least 7 years of experience in System Engineering, including at least 3 years in managing engineering deliverables?
  • You have knowledge in software-defined radio (Software Defined Radio) and in the military domain?
  • Your peers recognize your leadership, your excellent interpersonal skills, your ability to motivate teams and gain their support, your rigor, and your commitment?
