The Company Secretary - Internship role at Paytm focuses on ensuring the company's compliance with laws related to secretarial functions and upholding high standards of corporate governance. Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to the Companies Act and other compliances, coordinating with statutory, internal, and secretarial auditors, and managing secretarial group compliances. The intern may also be assigned other secretarial duties. Paytm is a leading mobile payments and financial services company in India, aiming to serve half a billion Indians and integrate them into the mainstream economy through technology.

Must have:

Ensuring compliance with Companies Act and other compliances.
Coordination with auditors.
Managing secretarial group compliances.
Pursuing Company Secretary qualification.

Good to have:

Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
Degree in Law.

About the role: .The role of the candidate is to ensure that Company complies with laws relating to secretarial function as well as maintaining highest standards of corporate governance.

Expectations/ Requirements :

1. Ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act and other compliances.

2. Coordination with statutory, internal & secretarial auditors.

3. Managing secretarial group compliances.

4. Any other secretarial matters as may be assigned from time to time.

Education: Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or A degree in Law will be preferred or pursuing the CS.
