Job Description

The Consumer Strategist will join the WebMD Ignite Activation team and support campaign strategy development, execution, and performance monitoring for healthcare clients. Responsibilities include conducting research, developing audience profiles, contributing to channel strategy recommendations, compiling creative briefs and media plans, collaborating with internal teams for campaign implementation, and preparing client-facing materials. Additionally, the strategist will stay informed on marketing trends and work closely with senior strategists to ensure correct documentation.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a marketing or digital role.
  • Understanding of omnichannel marketing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborative and curious learner.
Good to have:
  • Interest in healthcare marketing.
  • Agency experience is a plus.

Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Consumer Strategist to join the WebMD Ignite Activation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career marketing professional eager to grow their strategic and analytical skills in a fast-paced agency environment. In this role, you will support campaign strategy development, execution, and performance monitoring for healthcare clients.

 


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the strategic planning process by conducting research, developing audience profiles, and contributing to channel strategy recommendations.
  • Help compile creative briefs, media plans, and work cross-functionally to ensure strategic alignment across all deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support campaign implementation, performance monitoring, and optimizations.
  • Assist in preparing client-facing materials, including strategy presentations and performance recaps.
  • Stay informed on marketing trends and competitor activity to provide input on campaign strategies.
  • Work closely with senior strategists and managers to ensure campaign plans are correctly documented across all internal systems.

 


Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a marketing, strategy, or digital media role 
  • Foundational understanding of omnichannel marketing, including digital, print, and CRM-based channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Collaborative and curious learner who enjoys working closely with others
  • Interest in healthcare marketing and agency experience is a plus.
