The Content Marketing Manager at Nielsen is responsible for developing and executing content marketing strategies aligned with overall marketing and business objectives. This role involves creating various content formats for multiple channels, collaborating with the Integrated Marketing team, ensuring content aligns with industry standards, optimizing content for SEO, and analyzing website traffic metrics. Responsibilities include developing an editorial calendar, maintaining compliance, generating new ideas, and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, strong project management abilities, and a proactive, goal-oriented approach.

Nielsen’s marketing team is tasked with unlocking revenue growth by solidifying and strengthening our domain authority and effectively connecting with our target audience at key (and measurable) moments that matter throughout the buyer journey. Our work drives the growth of Nielsen’s customer base, lifetime value, and business outcomes by creating and implementing a segment driven approach to all marketing activities from messaging and positioning to strategy creation, execution and measurement.  We succeed through the development of data & insight led strategies, innovative ideas, creativity along with exceptional execution and continual optimisation.     


About the Role:
The Content Marketing team is the voice of Nielsen. We work with our marketing peers to understand audience needs based on where they are in the buyer or user journey and then develop messages and content that establish domain authority, positively impacting buyer behaviors and driving commercial performance. We create content that meets audiences’ needs while moving the business forward. 
This role reports to the Director of Content Marketing and plays a critical role in supporting the development and execution of Content Marketing strategies including the creation of written content in all forms to function across every channel.
This role will collaborate closely with other parts of the Marketing organization as well as wider Nielsen stakeholders to determine our priorities and deliver on solutions.

Responsibilities:

Support the development of a content strategy aligned with the overall marketing strategy and business objectives.
Execute the creation of content to support multiple formats and channel delivery tailored to user needs and behaviors.
Collaborate with the wider Integrated Marketing team to plan and deliver content to operate across all platforms and campaigns.
Continually create and publish engaging content that aligns with the style, tone and characteristics of the industries that we operate in.
Edit, proofread and ensure excellent, fault free content at all times.
Partner with the Digital team to optimize content for SEO.
Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics.
Develop an editorial calendar and ensure content team is on board.
Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection).
Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention .

Qualifications:  

• Minimum of 3 years experience in B2B Marketing, Media, Content and/or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• Fundamental knowledge of Content Marketing and a good understanding of related marketing functions.
• Exceptional creative writing and content development skills, experienced English language writer and content creator. 
• Excellent organization, project management and problem solving skills.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• A proactive, goal-oriented team player able to work independently and collectively in a fast-paced environment.
