The D2C Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of King's direct-to-consumer initiatives, primarily focusing on the Gift Card program. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance (legal, geo-locking, regulatory), managing store operations (updates, branding, functionality), coordinating technical integrations with partners, tracking key performance metrics (sales, redemption rates), and supporting growth initiatives (affiliate programs, geo-expansion, marketing campaigns). The role requires strong project management skills, experience with external partners, and excellent communication to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Budget management and maintaining comprehensive documentation are also key aspects.

Your Role Within Our Kingdom
 

We’re looking for an Operations Manager to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day operational responsibilities for our direct-to-consumer initiatives, starting with the Gift Card program. This role is critical in ensuring its seamless execution and driving its continued growth.

As Operations Manager, you’ll work closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Marketing, Performance Marketing, Shared Tech teams) and external partners, manage, optimize, and scale our Gift Card initiative globally. You’ll also play a vital role in enabling strategic initiatives by ensuring the program operates efficiently and meets compliance, technical, and business requirements.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
 

  • Compliance and Operations Management:

    • Ensure the 1st party store meets all compliance requirements, including legal disclaimers, geo-locking, and regulatory updates.
    • Oversee ongoing store operations, including updates to URLs, branding, and functionality.
       
  • Technical and Systems Coordination:

    • Track and manage integration milestones with partners.
    • Monitor and resolve technical blockers to ensure accurate sales tracking and smooth redemption processes.
       
  • Metrics and Reporting:

    • Maintain and update dashboards to track sales, redemption rates, and program incrementally.
    • Consolidate and share insights from performance metrics and consumer awareness surveys.
       
  • Growth Initiative Support:

    • Support the programme management and execution of all growth initiatives in flight, which may include:
      • Coordinate execution of the affiliate program, including onboarding influencers and monitoring campaign performance.
      • Support geo-expansion efforts by liaising with partners to launch in new markets.
      • Collaborate with Performance Marketing on campaigns for the 1st party store.
         
  • Stakeholder and Vendor Management:

    • Act as the main point of contact for operational tasks with all external partners.
    • Manage day-to-day communications, escalations, and issue resolution.
       
  • Budget and Administrative Oversight:

    • Manage purchase orders and operational budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation for contracts, workflows, and decisions.

We’re looking for someone with:
 

  • Proven experience in operations management or similar roles, preferably in e-commerce, digital products, or gift card initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Experience working with external partners and vendors to manage day-to-day operations and relationships.
  • Analytical mindset, with proficiency in using tools or dashboards to track and report on performance metrics.
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners effectively.
  • Knowledge of compliance, legal requirements, or technical integrations is a plus.
