As a Deal Analyst within the Financial Services SBU pricing team, you will partner with the business on financial deal-related activities. Your responsibilities include developing financial and operational models aligned with client requests, performing scenario analysis, and ensuring margin, cash, and risk optimization. You will act as a gateway to finance, ensuring robust assumptions and compliance. Strong communication and analytical skills are crucial for relaying information between functions and articulating key financials to stakeholders. The role also requires an understanding of financial metrics, risk mitigation, and pricing models. This role requires working in a project-timeline driven environment with multiple stakeholders.
Must Have:

Job Description

As a Deal Analyst within the Financial Services SBU pricing team you will play an integral role in partnering the business for financial deal related activities, delivering customer value, compelling and competitive and commercial financial models whilst ensuring optimization of margin, cash and risks and adherence to internal financial compliance & governance. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with bid teams to develop the financial and operational modelling aligned to the client request and our proposed solution. 
  • Working with sales teams, performing scenario analysis and benchmarking to develop the competitiveness of deal pricing.
  • Acting as a gateway to finance, delivering robust assumptions and optimal margin, cash and risk.
  • The role requires flexibility in terms of working hours and some travel may be required. 
  • Strong finance acumen, including awareness of key financial metrics, and appreciation of financial risk and devising ways to mitigate.
  • Knowledge/experience of different pricing models and approaches to revenue recognition. Familiarity with IFRS 15.
  • Ability to work in a project-timeline driven environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced MS Excel user.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
  • A self-starter who can work independently when required, as well as a working well as part of a larger team;
  • Strong communicator, able to capture and relay critical components of information between different functions (e.g. non-finance) as well as being able clearly articulate key assumptions, financials and outcomes/implications to senior stakeholders.

Experience requirement: 8+ years in a finance role, pricing/deal modelling experience beneficial.

Qualification: CA or MBA (must have finance-related qualification)
