This role within PwC's Tax & Legal Services requires a Finance Business Partner to assist in the finance function. Responsibilities include analyzing financial information, preparing reports, leading strategic discussions for planning, budgeting, and forecasting. The role also involves preparing data-driven presentations and collaborating with the Finance Lead on business planning initiatives. Furthermore, the role involves collaborating with other line of services and interact with senior stakeholders, provide experts advice on variety of specific topics and provide qualitative and quantitative analysis. Also it requires to support in investment decisions and preparing return on investment reporting.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and business analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Job Description & Summary

A career in PwC under Finance, within the Tax & Legal Services line of service, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on analysing financial information, maintaining financial reports, and preparing analysis.

Who we are looking for :

  • A   career   in   Finance,   within   Tax   &   Legal   Services,   will   provide   you   with   the opportunity  to  help  PwC  in  all  aspects  of  our  Finance  internal  function  including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy.  Your  primary  responsibility  will  entail  analysing financial information to generate   comprehensive   reports.   This   role   extends   beyond   analysis   to   leading strategic  discussions  aimed  at  facilitating  the Line of Service's planning, budgeting, and   forecasting   processes.   Additionally,   you'll   be   instrumental   in   preparing data-driven  presentations  for  discussion  purposes.  Collaboration  with  the  Finance Lead will be integral as you contribute to business planning initiatives..

  • A  career  within Finance, will provide the opportunity to collaborate with other Line of  services  and  interact  with  key  senior  stakeholders,  provide  experts  advice  on  a variety  of  specific  topics,  provide  business  qualitative  and  quantitative  analysis, as well  as  trend  and  predictive  analysis,  supporting  investment  decisions,  preparing return on investment reporting.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategy Support and insights :

  • Conduct strategic analysis and provide decision support.

  • Align budgeting and forecasting processes with business objectives.

  • Lead initiatives across practices and the firm to enhance financial performance.

Budgeting and Revenue planning:

  • Support leadership in planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Cascade financial goals to partners and managers, and monitor performance against targets.

  • Monitor revenue recognition and margins

Financial performance monitoring

  • Ensure accuracy and updates of the sales pipeline.

  • Track project profitability and budgets.

  • Monitor Business team performance and KPIs such as NI, billing, utilization and collection Vs Targets

  • Report on financial performance and ensure accuracy of backlog reporting.

  • Conduct business analysis and manage other financial areas as required.

Cross functional Collaboration:

  • Monitor resource utilization and team allocation.

  • Report Financial Risk & Exposure

  • Control financial and operational excellence 

  • Steamline business processes

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification 

  • Proven experience in financial planning and business analysis

  • Proficient in Excel and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency with financial software and tools, such as Power BI and AI tools.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
