The Director of Marketing at PlaySWEEPS will develop and execute the overarching marketing strategy for the sweepstakes business. This role requires a holistic approach to planning and strategizing, leveraging dynamic and agile methodologies across social casino and sweepstakes funnels, as well as mobile-to-web user flows. Responsibilities include leading user acquisition efforts, collaborating with product teams, designing measurement workflows, building partnerships, managing a high-performing team, staying ahead of industry trends, and working cross-functionally with other teams. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on sweepstakes, real money gambling, or a related field, and proven expertise in user acquisition and digital media.

Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overarching marketing strategy for the sweepstakes business, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Adopt a holistic approach to planning and strategizing, leveraging dynamic and agile methodologies to cross social casino and sweepstakes funnels, as well as mobile-to-web user flows.
  • Lead user acquisition (UA) efforts across paid media, affiliate marketing, and cross-promotion, focusing on driving scalable and sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate closely with product teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts with product roadmaps and features.
  • Design and implement mobile-to-web measurement workflows, enabling effective tracking of user behavior and campaign performance across platforms.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with affiliates, influencers, and media platforms to drive reach and visibility.
  • Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and accountability.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in the sweepstakes and real-money gaming sectors, to innovate and adapt strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally with analytics, product, and CRM teams to design and implement data-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Create and implement frameworks for campaign attribution and measurement, ensuring a clear understanding of performance impact.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador and advocate for the business unit in external events, partnerships, and forums.



 

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on sweepstakes, real money gambling, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in user acquisition, digital media, and cross-promotion strategies.
  • Experience managing large-scale performance marketing budgets with a strong track record of ROI optimization.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles, with a demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in SAN campaigns, programmatic advertising, affiliate marketing, and CRM strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with experience using advanced tools like Google Analytics, SQL, Tableau, or similar.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to navigate legal and compliance considerations related to real-money gaming and sweepstakes marketing.
  • Comfortable working with U.S. teams and stakeholders across different time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in launching and scaling sweepstakes or real-money games.
  • Expertise in SEO, SEM, ASO, and influencer marketing.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for campaign optimization and personalization.
  • Deep understanding of audience behavior specific to sweepstakes or gambling markets.
