Job Description

Tesla seeks a Field Service Technician to maintain and repair their energy storage products. Responsibilities include on-site installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of energy storage systems in Belgium and abroad. Troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and acting as the primary contact for contractors are key duties. Analyzing recurring issues and providing feedback to engineering teams, along with planning and organizing technical activities, are also required. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a field-based role. Experience with low- and medium-voltage systems is essential; high-voltage experience is a plus. Excellent communication, independent work ethic, flexibility for travel, and fluency in English are crucial.

As a Field Service Technician in our Energy Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure our Energy Storage products are operating at their best. Our Energy Storage products help solve the problem with the inconsistent supply of wind and solar power, accelerating the transition to a greener electricity network. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Belgium. What You’ll Do

Perform all on-site technical activities related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage products in Belgium and abroad when needed
Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
Act as the first point of contact to contractors
Analyze recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
Prepare, organize, and plan your own technical activities

What You’ll Bring

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field, experience in a field-based role is a plus
Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
A passion for renewable energy
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
Flexible towards travelling
Fluency in English
Valid driver’s license
EU work authorization
