Job Description Short Summary
The Senior Solution Architect designs and aligns business processes with technology solutions to meet customer needs and enhance efficiency. As key members of on-site or remote project teams, they lead complex transformation efforts. They collaborate with people across different cultures, roles, and seniority levels, using their expertise to optimize processes and support the business's strategic objectives
As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be:
Leading Retail Planning solutions deployment in transformation projects/programs, including ownership of end-to-end solution design
Defining customers value added business process workflows and adapting the entire implementation process to it
Providing advice regarding industry best practices and process methodology
Effectively managing various stakeholders
Providing mentorship to functional teams within Blue Yonder organization
Interacts with Product Marketing & Development team regarding new solution releases. Communicates gaps in applications capabilities
Working with the pre-sales team to assess workload on a given project and recommend roles
Can lead data science associates to enhance the strategies and model data to deliver the customer benefit
Operating in a dynamically changing multi-cultural environment
Knowledge and skills, we are looking for:
10+ years of experience in Retail/Supply Chain industry (e.g., Softline, Grocery, Wholesale, FMCG, CPG, etc.)
Great understanding of the overall planning, retail processes (demand management, supply chain optimization, replenishment/fulfilment, category management, assortment optimization)
Ability to suit business language (users, management, and executive level audiences)
Ability to discussions on both functional processes and technical concepts (supported by Tech Lead)
Skilled in managing complex client requirements and translating them into clear, actionable business solutions with precise documentation
Ability to convert data into meaningful insights (with Power BI data visualization or similar tools)
Experience with SQL and understanding of programming concepts
Business process modelling and notation tools awareness (e.g., UML/BPMN 2.0 or other) is a plus
Hands-on experience with integrating systems is a plus
SaaS / Cloud environment experience is a plus
