Job Responsibilities
As a Lead Designer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Background model creation for consumer game development.
- Determining the style, designing specifications, and managing the quality of background models.
- Establishing the production pipeline and workflow for background models.
Required Experience and Skills
- Experience in creating game backgrounds using 3D graphic software (such as Maya, Zbrush).
- Experience leading a background team (scale does not matter).
- Preference given to those with deep involvement in determining background model specifications through extensive interaction with other disciplines.
- Experience in fostering junior talent or managing asset production (degree does not matter).
Tool Usage Experience
- SubstancePainter
- Photoshop
- DCC tools such as Maya / Zbrush
- Game engines such as Unity / UE
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Experience in production using procedural workflows, such as Houdini.
- Experience in building procedural workflows.
- Knowledge of lighting and post-effects.
- Individuals with management experience, including guidance and training.

- Ability to collaborate with other disciplines and proactively propose better implementation methods and problem-solving approaches.
- Interest in researching new graphic expressions.
- Desire to be involved in development from the foundational aspects of graphics.
- Strong passion for game creation.

Salary
Annual salary 7,000,000 JPY to 12,000,000 JPY
- Compensation will be determined based on experience and ability, and will be preferential according to our company regulations regardless of age.
- The estimated annual salary is merely a guideline and may fluctuate during the selection process.
- Annual salary includes overtime pay and bonuses.
Working Hours
Staggered working hours system (generally 11:00-20:00 / standard working hours: 8 hours/day)
- Starting time can be freely determined between 8:00 and 11:00.
