Job Description

This role involves the production and setup of character models, primarily human models, for consumer game development. Key responsibilities include determining the aesthetic taste of character models, designing their specifications, and ensuring quality control. The position also requires establishing and maintaining efficient production pipelines and workflows for character models. Candidates should have a strong passion for game creation and the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams.
Must have:
  • Produce and set up character models (mainly human models) for consumer games.
  • Determine character model taste, design specifications, and manage quality.
  • Establish character model production pipelines and workflows.
  • Minimum 2 years of practical experience in character modeling for games.
  • Practical experience in character modeling using 3D graphics software (Maya, 3dsMax, etc.).
  • Experience in team quality management or character model specification design in collaboration with other roles.
Good to have:
  • Ability to collaborate with other professions and propose better implementation or problem-solving methods.
  • Ability to determine direction, including specifications and rules, not just creating shapes.
  • Desire to have discretion regardless of company history or years of service.
  • Strong passion for game creation.

  • Game platform does not matter.
  • Practical experience in character modeling using 3D graphics software (Maya, 3dsMax, etc.).
  • Experience in team quality management, or practical experience in character model specification design in collaboration with other professions.

Salary

  • The estimated annual salary is merely a guideline and may fluctuate during the selection process.

Work Location / Map

5-minute walk from Jimbocho Station A9 exit.

3-minute walk from Ogawamachi Station B7 exit.

Working Hours

Staggered working hours system (generally 11:00-20:00 / standard working hours: 8 hours/day)

  • Start time can be freely decided between 8:00 and 11:00.
  • Discretionary labor system may apply depending on the ability layer at the time of joining.
