ABOUT THE POSITION
Black Shamrock is seeking an Insourcing Manager to organize internal communication on projects. This is a full-time position based in our Dublin office which involves working in an international environment.
As a part of the Production team, you will coordinate internal communication between Virtuos development teams involved on the project, at the crossroad between production and content management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, respond to and engage with points of contact in other Virtuos studios.
- Act as a “front desk”, centralizing content requests from the various project stakeholders.
- Ensure content requests follow a unified brief format that includes the necessary information, guidelines, and use context.
- Work closely with the Directors, Leads and Producers to assess priorities and keep these in sync with the fast-changing pace of the project.
- Keep track of content deliveries and make sure these comply with the project submission guidelines (file system architecture, naming conventions, etc.).
- Set up tools and processes to ensure art submissions don't endanger build performance and stability.
Qualifications
- Great communication and organizational skills, especially when dealing with complex technical elements (E.g: Asset creation and integration pipelines).
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management or outsourcing in a technical industry.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Capacity to organize, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- An educational background in Visual Arts or Project Management.
- Prior experience in the Video Games Industry.
- Previous experience working with North-American and/or Asian based companies.
