Must have:

Role Purpose: Drive strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and government agencies to foster innovation, research, and development that align with and advance the organization's goals and objectives in the field.

Location: Jacksonville, FL

  • Strategy Development and Implementation
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for institutional partnerships
    • Align partnerships with organizational goals and broader business objectives
  • Partnership Management
    • Identify, initiate, and nurture strategic alliances with key institutions
    • Negotiate and manage complex, multi-faceted agreements
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional partners
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute joint projects and initiatives
    • Monitor and report on the progress and impact of institutional partnerships
  • Representation and Networking
    • Represent the organization at relevant conferences, symposiums, and industry events
    • Stay informed about trends and developments in the field
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of partnerships
    • Ensure smooth communication and collaboration with external partners
  • Innovation and Opportunity Identification
    • Identify new partnership opportunities that drive innovation and development
    • Stay abreast of industry trends to inform partnership strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Sciences, or related discipline)
  • 7+ years of experience in alliance management, business development, or similar roles
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and managing institutional partnerships
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred

  • Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field
  • Experience in the [specific industry] sector
  • Knowledge of intellectual property rights and research collaboration agreements
  • Familiarity with grant processes and public-private partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global, cross-cultural environment
