Job Description

Larian Studios seeks a Graphics Programmer Intern to help develop their engine's VFX features. Experience or strong interest in C++ is crucial, along with knowledge of state machines, pathfinding, and AI routines. Must be a team player with good communication skills in English.

As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an Graphics Programmer - Intern to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.

Responsibilities

Help to maintain and extend our proprietary engine on its VFX related part (particle simulation, materials, post-process effects, rendering/lighting pipeline).
Work closely together with the Art/VFX department, to implement visual effects of topnotch quality and extend our library of existing VFX components.
Document code features.

Requirements

Experience or Interest in C++.
Open minded, willing to experiment and iterate over a specific feature.
Concepts as state machines, pathfinding, AI routines should be second nature.
Ability to think like a designer to create compelling and fun game play.
Good communication skills in English.
You are a team player and willing to take responsibility.
Problem-solving skills.
