Junior Analyst - Local Market Share

Overview:

The Data Operations team works with product clients to obtain, cleanse, and aggregate various data formats into Institutional Shareholder Services’ data systems. Once these objectives are met, the team generates actionable business intelligence and reporting from this dataset and delivers to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, analyze, and process large relational datasets
• Conduct data assessments using Microsoft Excel
• Modify data to improve relational integrity
• Produce reports based on predefined configurations
• Meeting independent objectives and reporting status
• Communicating and collaborating with U.S. Operations Team to coordinate ETL processing and or raise awareness to identified findings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree – preferably in finance, economics, computer information systems or other business/data related field
• Proficient understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to learn new data and technology concepts
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to adapt to performing various and changing tasks throughout the work day
• Ability to independently manage time
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible working hours; willing to work day, mid, and night shifts as necessary

Experience working with any of the following would be a plus:

• Atlassian JIRA and Confluence software experience
• Knowledge of asset management and financial services industry
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL

Work Location & Schedule:

• Amenable working at Makati City on a permanent mid shift schedule (3pm – 12am, Manila Time)

• Amenable to go on a 2-month full onsite training prior to transitioning to hybrid working arrangement.

• Hybrid working arrangement (at least 3 days' work onsite per week)
