Job Description

Lead PHP Developer needed for Nexters' flagship project, Hero Wars Dominion Era, a browser-based RPG battler. Responsibilities include leading the development team, ensuring features meet business requirements, improving development processes, accelerating time-to-market, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and enhancing system performance and scalability. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial PHP7+ experience, 2+ years managing technical teams, expertise in MySQL + InnoDB, OOP, design patterns, database query optimization, and high-load systems. English proficiency is required.

About your role
We invite an experienced Lead PHP Developer to join our flagship project — the browser-based RPG battler Hero Wars Dominion Era. You will lead the development team and be responsible for its efficiency.

Developing the team
Improving development processes and team interactions
Accelerating time-to-market
Implementing cutting-edge technologies and architectures
Enhancing system performance and scalability

We hope that you have
5+ years of commercial experience with PHP7+
2+ years of experience managing a technical team
Experience with MySQL + InnoDB
Understanding of OOP and design patterns
English proficiency (reading technical documentation)
Experience optimizing database queries
Experience working with high-load systems
