Altagram is looking for a skilled Localization Project Manager to oversee project management initiatives, foster client relationships, and ensure seamless communication to drive regional and international success. The role involves leading day-to-day operations for top-tier video game localization quality, managing project budgets, issuing purchase orders, and overseeing financial reports. Responsibilities include monitoring localization quality, developing improvement strategies, managing client and vendor accounts, supporting business development in specified regions, and leading meetings to enhance project efficiency. A strong emphasis is placed on detailed financial reporting and client interaction.
Must have:
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • 2/3 years of Localization Project Manager experience
  • Full-cycle localization experience
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Client-facing and negotiation skills
  • Experience in gaming/localization industry
  • Proficient with localization tools
Good to have:
  • Proficiency in Japanese
  • Understanding of internationalization principles

Altagram is seeking a highly accomplished and potent Localization Project Manager (m/f/d). In this critical role, you will oversee project management initiatives while nurturing and expanding key client relationships. With a strong emphasis on fostering seamless communication and aligning with global objectives, you will play a pivotal role in driving both regional growth and international success. 

The ideal candidate for this position should be based in the PST/PDT or time zones such as LATAM


YOUR ROLE

  • Leading and coordinating day-to-day operations to ensure top-tier localization quality for video game titles.
  • Managing and overseeing project budgets, ensuring timely issuance of purchase orders and invoices.
  • Continuously monitoring localization quality and developing strategies to guarantee the highest standard of delivered content.
  • Preparing detailed financial reports for headquarters, while managing client and vendor accounts with accuracy.
  • Supporting business development efforts in PST/PDT/LATAM connecting with prospective clients and representing the company.
  • Leading kick-off and post-mortem meetings, driving improvements in localization workflows and overall project efficiency.
Your profile
  • Exceptional written and verbal English skills, proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
  • 2/3 years of experience as a Localization Project Manager, with comprehensive expertise in the field.
  • Full-cycle localization experience, including text localization, audio, and testing.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven by innovation and creativity.
  • Strong client-facing and negotiation skills, adept at managing client relationships.
  • Previous experience in an agency or publisher within the gaming or localization industry is essential.
  • Proficient with standard industry software, file formats, and localization tools such as MemoQ.
  • Solid understanding of internationalization and globalization principles.
