A career within our Risk Consulting will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients set up effective compliance programmes, third party risk management processes and whistleblowing mechanisms. These programmes help our clients mitigate legal, financial and reputational risks.
Our key services include:
- The design and implementation of compliance programmes at the enterprise level (where we help establish their regulatory universe and their compliance operating model and organisational structure) and at the vertical level (whereby we focus on designing and establishing a programme to comply with a specific regulatory area, such as anti-bribery and corruption, human rights, etc.)
- The design and implementation of ethics programmes, including the development of key ethics policies such as the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policy.
- The design and implementation of third party risk management programmes to address and mitigate compliance risks from the business’ third parties.
- The design and implementation of anti-fraud programmes and whistleblower mechanisms.
To help us grow and achieve our ambitions, our team is looking for a manager to join the team in Brussels. As a manager, you will work alongside colleagues with extensive consulting and industry experience that will enable you to advance your career in risk and regulatory and to gain experience in topics that will continue to gain importance for businesses in the future.
Your impact
As a manager, you will manage the execution of our risk and regulatory mandates and help identify and advance our business development opportunities. Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to:
- Lead, manage and deliver projects respecting project plans with detailed timelines and budgets.
- Lead and facilitate meetings with our clients and other stakeholders. You communicate in an organized and knowledgeable manner, delivering clear requests for information, demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.
- Prepare reports and other deliverables.
- Training and supervising staff and coaching colleagues who will be operating under your instructions.
- Participate in business development activities of the team and help identify and research opportunities for new/existing clients. This includes preparation of proposals that describe our approach, deliverables and fees to projects, as well as development of discussion documents and presentations that outline our point of view.
- Staying up to date with regulatory and ethics subject matters to develop solutions for the issues our clients are facing.
As a Manager, your direct reporting line will be to a Director. You will work as a senior member of our team and be expected to take a significant role to support large programmes or lead smaller projects (team sizes will vary depending on client/ project), as well as have managerial responsibilities in the team in terms of strategy, human resource management, etc.
Your profile
We are looking for a manager with the following profile:
- You have about 5 -8 years of professional experience in risk and regulatory and are looking to advance your skills and experience in these areas. Experience in third party risk management, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-fraud programs or compliance and ethics is a must. Other regulatory verticals that we advise our clients on are: human rights, health and safety, pharmaceutical regulations, environmental regulations, antitrust, etc.
- You have consulting experience and a consulting mindset, are motivated by helping clients find solutions to the challenges they are facing.
- You are able to bring knowledge and experience of business processes and regulatory expectations and developments to our clients in a way that delivers value to them.
- You are a profound user of MS office, especially powerpoint and are able to convert our vision into powerpoints and other presentation platforms.
- You enjoy teamwork and you know how to effectively manage a team.
- You use your analytical and communication skills combined with self-initiative within a project team.
- You master Dutch or French and English fluently both in spoken and written language. German is a plus.
