Disney+ is a global premium video streaming service and it is the dedicated home for streaming movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. This exciting role requires a strong production planning background, with very high-level project management and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should be a creative, agile, detail-oriented, skilled in narrative marketing, and clear and concise communicator with passion for high-quality content. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all logistical, technical, budgetary, talent-related and artistic aspects of projects and/or special events as part of Content & Creative Team. Coordinate preparation of production materials and serve as liaison to the external vendors and Finance Department regarding project costs from project inception to wrap-up on financial aspects after a project is completed. Facilitate commercial negotiations. Managed production cost efficiency by diversifying and evaluating external resources and building a database of strength and rates of external resources. Provide clear and timely communication out to appropriate partners of the impact of any and all changes. Responsible for constant, accurate monitoring of project status as to timelines, schedules, budgets, scope, updates, and meetings; and for adjustments as necessary to keep on time and on budget. Working closely with legal to ensure all content is being produced within company and legal guidelines. Ensuring all projects are wrapped and actualized accurately and thoroughly by the producer. Liaise with management team and international production team for project updates. Collaborate with other business segments and marketing, communications and distribution to ensure the overall success of delivery.
Must have:
  • 10+ years’ experience in local TV episodic production
  • Knowledge of media/internet content industry
  • Deep knowledge and experience throughout other product related aspects, such as sales, digital and social media marketing, talent, and linear channel programming and scheduling
  • Individual contributor role and a well-rounded project manager from concept to final delivery
  • Capability to supervise multiple production projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated management and people skills
  • Proficiency in task follow-through and taking initiative
  • Demonstrated budget and scheduling management skills
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated strong delegation, partnering, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, able to analyze and summarize performance and provide advice and solutions for continuous improvement

Job Summary:

It is available on most internet-connected devices and offers a variety of original feature-length films, documentaries, live-action and animated series and short-form content. Alongside unprecedented access to Disney’s incredible library of film and television entertainment, the service is also the exclusive streaming home for the latest releases from The Walt Disney Studios.

This exciting role requires a strong production planning background, with very high-level project management and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should be a creative, agile, detail-oriented, skilled in narrative marketing, and clear and concise communicator with passion for high-quality content.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an entertainment-related field
  •  Knowledge of media/internet content industry with rich experience in live action/episodic content production in South Korea
  •  10+ years’ experience in local TV episodic production
  • Deep knowledge and experience throughout other product related aspects, such as sales, digital and social media marketing, talent, and linear channel programming and scheduling
  • Individual contributor role and a well-rounded project manager from concept to final delivery
  •  Capability to supervise multiple production projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated management and people skills
  • Proficiency in task follow-through and taking initiative
  • Demonstrated budget and scheduling management skills
