The Material Artist will lead material creation, ensuring high artistic and technical quality. Responsibilities include creating high-quality, tileable textures in Substance Designer, designing and optimizing materials in Unreal Engine, mentoring junior artists, and collaborating with the art director and producers. The ideal candidate possesses strong Substance Designer skills, understands PBR workflows and UE5 shader creation, and has experience in tiled texture creation and layered materials. They should be able to communicate clearly with clients and digest feedback effectively. The role requires strong communication, collaboration and the ability to share knowledge.
