Job Description

Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg seeks a Mechatronics/Maintenance/Electrical Technician to troubleshoot complex, fully automated battery cell production systems. Responsibilities include timely repair, maintenance, and conversion work on all production machines; participation in preventive maintenance; and documenting all maintenance and fault rectifications. The ideal candidate will have completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician or have a comparable qualification and experience in an industrial environment. Shift work (including weekends, nights, and holidays) is required. Cleanroom experience and German language skills are advantageous, while English is required.

Must have:

Completed vocational training as mechatronics technician or comparable qualification
Industrial environment experience
Troubleshooting complex automated systems
Maintenance and repair skills
Teamwork, communication, and commitment
Shift work availability (including weekends, nights, holidays)
English language skills

Good to have:

Clean room experience
German language skills

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for troubleshooting on complex and fully automated production systems in the battery cell production
You are responsible for the timely and professional and professional execution of repair, maintenance and conversion work on all production machines
Participation in the execution of preventive maintenance work
You carry out the documentation of allmaintenance work and fault rectifications

What You’ll Bring

Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
Work experience in an industrial environment
Flexibility, communication and
ability to work in a team, willingness to perform and commitment
Willingness to work shifts (incl. weekend, night and holiday work)
First experience in clean room desirable
English language skills required and German skills advantageous
