Aristocrat Technologies, a global leader in gaming entertainment, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Offshore Resource Pool Manager to oversee and optimize our flexible resource pool located in India. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient utilization of offshore resources to support our global operations and initiatives.
What You'll Do
Resource Allocation and Management:
- Effectively allocate resources from the offshore pool to various projects and teams based on priority and resource availability.
- Monitor resource utilization and optimize allocation to ensure efficient project delivery and adherence to timelines.
Performance Management:
- Define and implement performance metrics for offshore resources to measure productivity, quality, and adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to offshore team members to drive continuous improvement.
Capacity Planning:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast resource requirements and plan capacity accordingly.
- Anticipate and address resource constraints proactively to avoid project delays.
Team Development and Training:
- Identify training needs and opportunities for skill enhancement within the offshore team.
- Foster a culture of learning and development to ensure the team remains competitive and capable of meeting evolving business needs.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between offshore teams and onshore stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across geographical locations to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously review and refine operational processes related to offshore resource management.
- Implement best practices and tools to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (+5 years) in managing offshore teams or resource pools, preferably in the IT, software development, or gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and resource planning techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of driving performance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and tools such as JIRA is desirable.
