One of Us is seeking a Data IO/Pipeline Coordinator to support the daily operations of their technical teams in London. Responsibilities include scheduling tasks, updating databases and trackers, escalating blockers, monitoring ticket queues, and providing support to artists and other departments. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. A basic understanding of VFX workflows and G Suite is essential. This position offers a potential stepping stone to a career in technical project management or within the studio's technical teams.
Must have:

One Of Us is a visual effects studio founded in London in 2004 by co-directors Rachael Penfold,Dominic Parker, and Tom Debenham.

With a dynamic team of over 350 highly skilled professionals working across our London and Parisstudios, we take pride in pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling with experience in all stages ofproduction, from concept through to planning, photography, and post-production.From breathtaking fantasy landscapes to gripping action sequences, our portfolio spans a diverserange of genres and award winning projects such as Pinocchio, The Witcher and The Crown.

The role. Data IO/Pipeline Coordinator, Reporting to VFX Technical Project Manager, London

One of Us is looking for a Data IO/Pipeline Coordinator who will assist and support the daily operations of the OOU technical teams. Working closely with the Project Management team, the role will gain an understanding of VFX workflows for the technical teams and develop skills in long term planning, scheduling and reporting. Given the fast paced nature of the role, attention to detail, clear communication and solid time management are key.

This role could be a step towards a career in technical project management or working within the technical teams in our studio.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scheduling and prioritise daily and weekly tasks for the technical teams based on information provided by production and artists (ie, show setup, version zeros, ingests, deliveries, showreels).

  • Assist the team by helping keep databases and trackers up to date.

  • Support to escalate blockers and find resolution with support from senior technical team members.

  • Help monitor ticket queues and ensure expectations are pro-actively managed.

  • Provide support for the team, i.e. time with relevant artists, information from other departments and reporting.

What we are looking for:
  • Have an interest in VFX technical workflows - enthusiastic and excited to learn.

  • Basic Level of G-suite - specifically sheets/excel

  • A clear communicator - written and verbal communications.

  • Good problem solving skills

Preferable but not required experience:

  • Basic understanding of VFX Workflows.

  • Experience with ShotGrid or other production tracking tools (i.e. ftrack).

  • Experience with Jira or other ticketing systems.

  • Experience as a production assistant/coordinator

Hours and location

Our core hours are 09:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday. We have a great office in Old Street where many of our teams work from, hybrid working may be possible depending on team working pattern.
