Job Description

AVER is seeking a Power Platform Developer with in-depth knowledge and experience to design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and business process automation, with the ability to create scalable solutions that enhance efficiency and decision-making. Responsibilities include designing, developing, enhancing, debugging, and implementing software; troubleshooting production problems; researching and coordinating the conversion of new products; evaluating effectiveness; addressing systems integration issues; consulting with teams to identify requirements; performing feasibility analysis; assisting in the evaluation of software packages and tools; and resolving software issues. The role also involves acting as a team leader, instructing and directing development team members, participating in user manual development, developing and maintaining Power Apps, automating business processes with Power Automate, creating data visualization with Power BI, collaborating with stakeholders, integrating Power Platform solutions, ensuring scalability and security, providing technical support, and staying updated with Power Platform features. Additionally, responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated data pipelines, optimizing ETL processes, implementing cloud-based solutions, ensuring data integrity and security, troubleshooting pipeline issues, and staying updated with data engineering trends.
Must have:

  • Stay updated with Power Platform features
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines
  • Optimize ETL processes
  • Implement cloud-based solutions
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues
  • Stay updated with data engineering trends
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of technical analysis experience
  • Proven experience as Power Platform Developer
  • Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI
  • Experience architecting/building canvas and model driven apps
  • Strong understanding of Power Apps Center of Excellence, Deployments, security
  • Experience with data integration (APIs, REST, SQL)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks
  • Experience developing/managing data pipelines in cloud
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
  • Experience with administration, data conversion, data-marts, data consumption
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance (Public Trust)
  • U.S. citizenship
Good to have:
  • Experience in data engineering, ETL processes, cloud computing, power system analytics
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos)

AVER is seeking a Power Platform Developer with in-depth knowledge and experience to design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Responsibilities Include:
  • Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software
  • Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications
  • Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements
  • Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software
  • Evaluate effectiveness.
  • Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
  • Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements
  • Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
  • Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
  • Resolve problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Act as team leader on projects
  • Instruct, assign, direct, and check the work of others on the development team
  • Participate in development of software user manuals and technical reports
  • Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Apps
  • Automate business processes and workflows using Power Automate
  • Create data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom solutions
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure
  • Provide technical support and training to users
  • Stay updated with the latest features and updates in the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated data pipelines for power-related applications
  • Optimize ETL processes to ensure high data reliability and performance
  • Implement cloud-based solutions for scalable data processing and storage
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues to ensure uninterrupted data flow
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in data engineering and power analytics
 
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent/related field.
 
Experience Requirements:
  • Power BI Developer with 5+ years of technical analysis experience
  • Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Experience with architecting and building canvas and model driven apps
  • Strong understanding of Power Apps Center of Excellence, Deployments, and how to manage security (security structure) of Power Apps
  • Experience with data integration, including APIs, REST services, and SQL
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data flows and develop innovative solutions to enhance data efficiency and accessibility
  • Proven experience in developing and managing data pipelines in a cloud environment
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience encompassing administration, data conversion, data-marts and data consumption
 
Desired Requirements:
  • Experience in data engineering, ETL processes, cloud computing, and power system analytics
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos
 
Security Requirements:  
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (Public Trust)
