Job role:

Gamezop is a dynamic and rapidly growing startup at the forefront of digital content and ad-tech. We're seeking a Product Manager to spearhead the development of data-driven solutions for automated Invalid Traffic (IVT) detection in our digital advertising products.

As a PM, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all our products are free of IVT, so that advertiser-spending can be protected.

Responsibilities:

  • IVT manifests in various forms, necessitating custom models for effective identification of each type. In this role, you'll work closely with our Data Science team to build these tailored models to combat the diverse landscape of IVT encountered across our products.
  • Define the product vision for IVT detection solutions, aligning it with the overall business goals of reducing wasted ad spend and improving campaign performance.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on the evolving landscape of IVT techniques and identify new types of invalid traffic.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (engineering, data science, sales, other product managers) to build a comprehensive strategy for combating IVT.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of deployed IVT detection models and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation on the functionality and limitations of IVT detection tools.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory landscape around IVT detection.
  • Identify and explore partnerships with third-party IVT detection vendors for complementary solutions.

Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in core ad-tech, preferably in an IVT detection-related role. Solid grasp of programmatic advertising, ad formats, campaign types, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts like classification models and their role in IVT detection.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify patterns in data and develop solutions for combating IVT. If you don't have this, you are not a fit.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and use it to drive decision-making. Capacity to translate technical data insights into clear and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment for iterative product improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
