About the job:
As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure technology transitions are landed with minimal disruption to capacity delivery to Product Areas. Develop transition strategy, steer multi-scenario transition planning during NPI product life-cycle phases, and execute transition landing into the fleet at scale.
Must have:
  • 5 years of program or project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with New Product Introductions (NPI)
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with demand planning, supply planning, NPI operations
  • Ability to adapt due to the changing nature of NPI
  • Ability to generate multiple scenarios, define corresponding plans of actions
  • Ability to adjust plans as unknown variables become known
  • Ability to orchestrate closed loop execution across multiple functional teams

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with New Product Introductions (NPI), demand planning, supply planning, NPI operations, with the ability to adapt due to the changing nature of NPI.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority, work across siloed domains, and facilitate agile decision making.
  • Ability to generate multiple scenarios, define corresponding plans of actions, adjust plans as unknown variables become known, and orchestrate closed loop execution across multiple functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure technology transitions are landed with minimal disruption to capacity delivery to Product Areas.
  • Develop transition strategy, steer multi-scenario transition planning during NPI product life-cycle phases, and execute transition landing into the fleet at scale.
  • Develop relationships with partner teams to drive alignment and structured communication across multiple organizational stakeholders.
  • Drive closed loop change event management (e.g., detection, impact analysis, re-planning, and execution of plans of record) across all relevant systems of record and teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, drive development and optimization of product transition processes and tools to automate and scale, partner across teams involved in management of the product life-cycle to ensure comprehensive and coordinated execution of transition plans.
