Job Description

As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with our development team to develop test plans, execute test cases, document defects, and help troubleshoot issues. Your responsibilities will include reviewing system specifications, collaborating on test strategies, executing both manual and automated tests, creating detailed test logs, reporting bugs and errors, and conducting post-release testing. You will also be involved in continuous improvement by providing feedback to developers, updating your technical knowledge, and ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Must have:

Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role.
Experience in QA methodology and tools.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
Strong organizational skills.

Key Qualifications And Skills

Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Testing course is a plus

Experience

Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role.

Experience in QA methodology and tools.

Technical Skills

Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.

Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.

Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.

Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.

Roles And Responsibilities

Test Planning and Execution

Review and analyze system specifications.

Collaborate with the development team to develop effective strategies and test plans.

Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.

Create logs to document testing phases and defects.

Quality Assurance

Report bugs and errors to development teams.

Help troubleshoot issues.

Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.

Continuous Improvement:

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Continuously update technical knowledge and skills.

Provide feedback to developers about automated testing strategies, design fixes, and patches.
