Simplygon, a part of Microsoft Gaming, is seeking to hire a Senior Build Engineer.

Simplygon develops one of the renowned technologies that has been used in games for more than 15 years. So, you have likely encountered the Simplygon logo in the boot sequence of a favorite game. We are a passionate product team specializing in 3D Game Content Optimization for the Computer Games industry. Our mission is to craft end-to-end solutions for customers by providing a best-in-class 3D optimization tool, the Simplygon SDK. Which has been used in the development of thousands of games and digital media on many platforms and devices.

What are we looking for from you? We believe you are a highly motivated Senior Build Engineer with an interest in game development technologies. You are familiar with managing a complex automated build pipeline and constantly looking for ways to improve the build process. We also believe you have a strong inner drive, able to take initiatives working well both independently and alongside others.

It is beneficial to have a passion for computer games, and a genuine desire to empower game creators to achieve more. At Simplygon we are proud of what we have done so far but are looking to continue to innovate further within the domain. Based in Linköping, Sweden, we require regular onsite work but offer a flexible hybrid arrangement.

• Maintain and improve our build system in Azure DevOps, including security and compliance.
• Develop and manage pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Administer hardware and software resources for our hybrid build farm, which includes both cloud and on-premises machines.
• Identify manual processes that can be automated to improve efficiency and reduce errors in build automation.
