Description
AVER is a fast-growing SDVOSB that has achieved significant revenue growth over the past 5 plus years with much of our work focused on Data Analytics, Mission Support, IT Modernization and Biometrics. We are seeking a skilled SeniorBusiness Information Developer, responsible for coordinating and consolidating various impact analyses for management reporting. Establishes, improves, and optimizes the consolidating processes for forecast and month-end results. Responsibilities Include:
Consolidate and prepare executive summary reports for various business segments for top management decision-making
Analyze and design solutions to address varied and highly complex business needs
Collaborate with businesses and technical areas to implement new or enhanced products
Strong knowledge of products as well as our internal business models and data systems
Coordinate with external audits as appropriate
Acts as the central contact with internal departments and external auditors
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, or Business Administration or an equivalent statistical/ data centered degree is required
Experience Requirements:
8+ years of experience in BI Development and Data Analytics developing advanced Oracle PL/SQL queries and scripts
Experience with statistical analysis using Python/R
Ability to analyze health-related data to create Machine Learning (ML) models
Ability to analyze and designs solutions to address varied and highly complex business needs
Experience with Power BI for visualizations, dashboarding and to provide business insights
Experience with AI/ML tools such as Alteryx to collect, prepare, and automate data
Experience with PL/SQL for data extraction, query and report writing, managing file load and transfer processes, and execution of complex data mining analyses
Experience with extracting, transforming, and loading data
Experience with relational databases design and tuning
Desired Requirements:
Experience providing leadership in evaluating financial performance of complex organizations strongly preferred
Experience with training staff on technical information
Excellent leadership, problem solving, organizational, planning, presentation and interpersonal skills strongly preferred
Ability to work independently and draw up plans to address issues and concerns strongly preferred
Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Location:
HYBRID (1 day a week on site in Hanover, MD)
