A newly created position to lead the mobile and console/PC creative operations for Warner Bros. Games Global Marketing. This role is tasked to build the creative productions operations model leading a team of internal creatives and project managers, working alongside internal teams for external agency management. This role is suited to someone proactive, resilient, intuitive, and patient.

You care passionately about ‘what’ creative is needed, driven by ‘who’ it’s for and ‘where’ it will live. Your expertise comes to life in providing solutions for ‘how’ creative can be produced driving world class content we can be proud of, with efficient and effective production that delivers for the platform, brand and local team requirements.

You are a proven builder of global creative operations with a deep understanding and track record implementing and using creative and ad technology to support high-velocity, quality creative native to the channels. You understand and can develop processes to identify content needs bringing together common needs, efficient delivery of assets, metadata, localized materials, on time and on budget.

Experience building and managing creative organizations that are made up of FTE, freelance, and agency resources is key, as is delivering for internal teams across brand, channel, growth, international and social. Understanding internal needs which you level up with your tenured experience you can identify cost efficient creative hubs, best agency partners and a freelance model to support the workload cycles and creative velocity needs.

Being passionate about driving and producing world class creative for integrated digital and long-form channels, you can demonstrate your experience in delivering new production methods across omnichannel formats and have extensive experience managing the creative delivery of global marketing campaigns. Left and right brained - you are comfortable being part of a creative ideation meeting and leading a creative technology and localization process meeting.

A master at project management, problem-solving, and working in matrixed organizations, you must be able to offer solutions and navigate competing priorities. To be successful you need to thrive in changing environments and be capable of operating at tactical and strategic levels, jumping in when needed to solve problems and build for the future.

Your responsibilities will include:     

  • Partner with the EVP of Global Marketing to define the roadmap for the creative department focused on efficient production of world class creative that supports our business, brand and local market needs

  • Partner with internal teams (brand, social, channel, growth and international etc.) for creative needs assessment, planning for most optimal delivery in the short term with long term planning in parallel for future launch titles.

  • Determine best approach for creative development and localization focused on pace, scale and cost efficiency, working in partnership with internal teams and WBD procurement for external vendors.

  • Manage the creative team - resource planning, making career development and training a focus

  • Determine and work with tech team for the introduction of relevant creative/ad technology to support efficient development and automation of creative, working with the larger Warner Bros. Discovery organization for shared technology and learnings.

  • Develop processes and tools for creative needs intake and workflow, SLAs for creative development (for internal team and agencies), tools to track creative usage and performance.

  • Working with Product and Development, determine a baseline of in game capture needs (tech and resources) to allow marketing to support the pace and scale of capture needs including live services.

  • Be ‘always on’ for optimization and innovation ensuring workflow, tools, and quality are delivered and learnings are incorporated.

  • Be planning focused to anticipate workload spikes, ensuring creative quality and on-time delivery. Benchmark budget expenditures against projections and results.

  • Proactively identify business-critical issues and opportunities and lead problem solving and solutions for the most optimal creative delivery.

  • Manage resourcing, forecasting business needs,  contributing to long range resource planning.

  • Act with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality

Experience:

  • 10+ years experience directly leading a team of creatives and project managers with demonstrated ability delivering omnichannel creative in a matrixed organization

  • Hands-on experience and leadership in building and optimizing creative operations and production organizations including transcreation and localization of assets.

  • Proven experience building creative teams, rolling out new processes globally, launching creative technology and financial department planning

  • Demonstrated success bringing together and refining siloed operations, budgets and processes

  • Excellent communication abilities including to the executive level

  • Deep experience managing external partners alongside internal creative teams

  • An expert at tracking, prioritizing and drive multiple concurrent projects to success.

  • Leading and influencing across multiple levels and functions of the organization

  • A problem solver who thrives in changing and complex environments, and is efficient with limited resources

  • Mobile, console/PC games experience is a plus

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $168,000.00 - $312,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
