Lukáš brings an extensive background in auditing, with 13 years of rich and varied experiences. He has navigated through a diverse range of roles, from assurance senior manager to team leader or staff manager role, equipping him with a deep understanding of the industry and relevant business needs. His latest endeavour involves spearheading the development of our team of ESG specialists. Beyond work, he enjoys travelling, hiking and running, reflecting his well-rounded personality and commitment to a balanced lifestyle.
Join us as an Senior ESG Assurance Specialist and play a pivotal role in our assurance area. Your expertise will span across two key segments: ESG and Core Audit, catering to both local and international clients. You'll thrive in our dynamic, diverse team, constantly seeking ways to add value to our clients, our teams, and your own professional journey. Coordinating with international teams, you'll grow your stakeholder management skills and tackle a variety of projects.
ESG - 60 % of your role:
Collaborate with the ESG assurance team to bolster our ESG center of excellence within the core audit department.
Assist clients in crafting and assuring sustainable strategies, including decarbonization initiatives and ESG risk reporting.
Analyze and refine mandatory ESG disclosures, tailoring advice for specific country reports and suggesting improvements.
Stay abreast of sustainable practices, becoming the go-to expert for audit teams and clients.
Engage in coaching and mentoring through presentations and workshops, enhancing our clients' technical expertise in ESG.
Core Audit - 40 % of your role:
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audits (both group and local) under IFRS and/or CZ GAAP.
Lead in developing and implementing audit strategies, preparing comprehensive reports and recommendations.
Provide expert advice on financial reporting and regulatory updates, staying informed through internal and external seminars.
University degree in Business, Environmental Science, Sustainability or related field.
Excellent Czech/Slovak and English language skills.
A minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the ESG/Sustainability/ESG Audit.
An ability to analyse strategic, operational, risk and financial implications of sustainability trends and translate these into commercial impact.
Data analysis and visualisation skills, comfortable working with large datasets in Excel, Alteryx and/or Power BI.
Interest in helping clients develop/implement their sustainability strategies or measures.
Ability to think “outside the box” and apply creative and constructive thinking.
Independence in planning and execution of projects from the beginning until its delivery.
Ability to write audit reports with minimum supervision.
Excellent analytical skills in proposing well-founded conclusions.
Communicating effectively in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats.
