About the job
The Sr. Marketing Manager at AWAL is responsible for planning & executing innovative marketing and promotions campaigns for AWAL releases which will includes music singles, EP’s & soundtracks. With the ultimate aim of driving visibility and consumption for these releases across music platforms and touchpoints therey by increasing AWAL’s market share in the region.
What you'll do:
- Plan & ideate with the team on marketing and promotions campaigns for AWAL Recordings, AWAL+ and key AWAL Core frontline releases
- Manage and effectively utilize marketing budgets for various releases (frontline and catalogue).
- Execute the planned marketing campaigns by liasioning with multiple partners and vendors eg. mktg. agencies, influencers, dsp’s like Spotify, YT, Meta etc.
- Track effectiveness & learnings of marketing campaigns executed across platform and present these learnings to leadership teams.
- Collaborate with AWAL marketing teams across the globe to promote global tenpole AWAL releases in India and vice-versa.
- Liase with multiple internal teams across Sony Music and AWAL within India and overseas to share best practices and knowledge.
Who you are:
- Previous Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in promoting soundtracks, artists or films and OTT releases.
- Education: MBA in Marketing from a reputed intitute/university.
- Skills: Should be a team player, hustler and a go-getter, must have an experience of working in large teams. The candidate should be able to monitor and track trends in music that shape pop culture.
- Interests: Should be an avid music listener of new age, indi-pop and commercial Indian music.
