Tesla is seeking a Senior HR Operations Payroll Specialist to join our growing HR Operations team in Germany. What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for all key Payroll processes such as preparing input for the Payroll vendor against tight-deadlines, and process advance, termination and other out-of-cycle payments. Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee payroll records
  • Optimising and securing Payroll processes including maintaining current work instructions and FAQs to support employees to self-serve, whilst providing mentorship to Payroll team
  • Demonstrate an understanding of key SLAs, metrics and KPIs. Work proactively to eliminate trends and bottlenecks to optimise Payroll processes and data flows with HR stakeholders
  • Track and resolve escalations from employees and stakeholders to ensure that issues are addressed with accuracy and speed
  • Carry out audits and checks on Payroll data to ensure ongoing accuracy and processing diligence and participate in Payroll projects both on a regional and EMEA level
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form with employees, stakeholders and third-party vendors to explain and resolve queries and concerns
  • Run, develop and distribute payroll and HR reports to various stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong knowledge of Payroll processes, HR processes and systems
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and E-Ticketing tool systems a plus
  • Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks or shift priorities as needed in a fast-changing environment against deadlines
  • Proven skill at handling stressful issues and interfacing with all levels of the business in a courteous and professional manner
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel
  • German and English language skills; both written and spoken
  • Experience owning compliance related topics and performing necessary audits.
  • In-depth knowledge of global Payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements for various jurisdictions
