As a Software Test Technician at IGT, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and reliability of our studio’s technical infrastructure. This role encompasses managing the ordering, tracking, inventory, and maintenance of electronic gaming machines and related hardware, preparing and testing components and software installations for both internal and external hardware environments, and providing critical support for studio events, trade shows, and product showcases. Your contributions will ensure our equipment and processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency that our customers expect and deserve.
 

  • EGM Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate records of EGM inventory.
    • Manage the return of EGMs and components to the warehouse as needed.
       
  • Parts Ordering, Provisioning and Spending
    • Order necessary parts for EGM maintenance and updates.
    • Track and optimize spending to ensure budget compliance and efficient resource use.
    • Supply necessary equipment to both our on-site studio and our remote partners.
    • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all required items.
       
  • EGM Maintenance
    • Perform regular hardware and software updates on EGMs.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues to ensure optimal performance.
       
  • Field Issue Support
    • Setup EGMs and systems to match field environments on reported issues.
    • Work with engineering and development to evaluate and troubleshoot.
       
  • Event and Product Showroom Support
    • Assist with showroom updates and provide necessary software.
    • Ensure products are showcased effectively.
    • Set up community areas and EGMs for various events within the studio.
       
  • Trade Show Preparation
    • Load and verify software for trade show deployments.
    • Conduct final sign-offs to verify show functionality and pay percentages.
       
  • General Equipment Provision
    • Supply the studio with general technical/logistical equipment such as keyboards, mice, cables, and monitors.
    • Maintain an inventory of essential items to meet the studio’s needs.
       
  • General Studio Support
    • Assist with cube setup, employee moves, and general cleaning.
    • Provide support for any other studio needs to ensure a productive work environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.
  • Experience in inventory management and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting general hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Experience in the gaming industry preferred.
  • Must be able to lift/move equipment of up to 50 lbs. as needed.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $50,482/yr - $115,000/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
