Full Stack Web Developer

Brightline Interactive is seeking an experienced Full Stack Web Developer, with a heavy emphasis on Cloud Architecture, responsible for the web development projects for a best-in-class immersive technology company. This role may require occasional travel for field activations. In addition to your core responsibilities, in order to be successful, the candidate must be an excellent problem solver, cool under pressure, and have the ability to identify, clearly communicate and solve security and software issues quickly. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Build and secure PHP/Symfony web application backed by AWS S3/RDS 

• Build and secure Electron application with SSO integration 

• Interface web app with enterprise backends 

• Actively participate on client-facing meetings 

• Propose and build simple UX for web app administrative functions 

• Provide Producers with regular status updates on projects 

• Ensure all code is clear, commented where unclear, and committed daily 

• Systems integration with other technologies and APIs, including LMS, security and logging systems 

• Work with Producers and System Architects to shape data models and technical documentation 

• Participate in enterprise system security scans 

Things We Need You to Know: 

• PHP/Symfony

• Docker/Application containerization 

• Database design 

• Experience working with log aggregation/SIEM 

• Experience working within a Kubernetes/ArgoCD deployment environment 

• Git version control 

• SDLC and SOLID principles 

• 12 factor app design

• DevOps – CI, auto-deployment 

• App/Server/Transport level security 

• NIST 800-171 compliance framework 

What Else We Would Like from You: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

• 3-5 years experience in web development
