Requirements and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead complex IT projects with a focus on telecom network operations, AI-driven solutions, and automation. In this role, you will oversee the successful delivery of projects aimed at enhancing IT service management, network operations, and automation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telecommunications and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to deliver impactful projects on time and within scope.
As a Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with DevOps engineers, IT operations specialists, AI experts, and business stakeholders to drive innovation, ensure alignment with business goals, and deliver seamless solutions that optimize network infrastructure and operational workflows.
What you’ll do
Project Leadership & Management:
- Lead end-to-end project management for telecom-focused AI-driven network automation initiatives, from initiation to execution and delivery;
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals and client requirements;
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies, ensuring all project milestones are met;
- Identify risks, manage roadblocks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure project success;
- Coordinate project teams across technical and business units, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and regular updates on project progress;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., DevOps, network engineering, AI specialists) to translate technical requirements into clear project deliverables;
- Prepare and present project status reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership and key stakeholders;
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Telecom Network Operations & Optimization:
- Manage projects that focus on optimizing telecom network infrastructure, including cloud-based systems and network automation tools;
- Oversee integrations of network monitoring platforms and automation solutions to improve service delivery, incident management, and network reliability;
- Drive best practices for telecom workflows, ensuring scalability and efficiency in all implementations;
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in network management and operational processes.
AI & Automation Project Oversight:
- Coordinate the integration of AI-driven solutions and automation tools into telecom network management processes, focusing on predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and self-healing capabilities;
- Collaborate with DevOps and AI teams to implement AI-driven workflows that enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime;
- Ensure the seamless execution of automation initiatives, maintaining alignment between technical teams and business objectives.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and adherence to financial targets;
- Track project expenditures and timelines, providing regular updates to ensure projects remain within scope and budget;
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual terms.
Agile & Scrum Methodologies:
- Employ Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage iterative development and delivery processes, ensuring flexibility and adaptability;
- Conduct regular sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous progress and alignment with project goals.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale IT and network-focused projects;
- Experience managing automation and AI-driven initiatives within the telecommunications industry;
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with cross-functional teams, aligning technical and business objectives;
- Strong experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies for project delivery;
- Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and automation tools (e.g., TensorFlow, Ansible, Terraform, Python);
- Good understanding of telecom network operations, including cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network automation concepts;
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools and their integration into automation workflows;
- Experience with predictive analytics and AI-driven tools for network optimization;
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification;
- AI/ML certifications or relevant experience in implementing AI technologies in telecom environments;
- Experience with cloud-based networking technologies, such as SD-WAN and IoT;
- Familiarity with network monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
