We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Senior QA Engineer with deep healthcare domain knowledge to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our healthcare SaaS platform, with a specific focus on Revenue Cycle Management. The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying, and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, experience with SaaS applications, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Essential Job Duties

    • Provide hands-on QA leadership with limited direction, usually within a complex and evolving environment, to drive delivery of solutions while influencing cultural change.
    • Design and develop test strategies, comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
    • Execute test cases manually and through automated testing tools covering functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Identify, report, and track defects to resolution, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability.
    • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
    • Utilize your knowledge of healthcare workflows and RCM processes (e.g., 837, 835, 277 transactions) to create test plans that reflect real-world scenarios.
    • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and methodologies.
    • Continuously identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation frameworks, and the overall QA process to ensure rapid and reliable product delivery.
    • Mentor junior QA team members and champion testing best practices.
    • Stay current with industry trends, tools in QA automation and healthcare, integrating new ideas to drive continuous improvement. 

Other Job Duties

    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or HHA exchange leader.
The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $100,000-115,000, not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
