Job Description

Senior SAP Developer needed for a leading bank in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Responsibilities include enhancing and developing SAP projects, gathering user requirements, providing impact analysis and effort estimations, developing functionalities using Windows Scripting and SQL, designing and building Control-M jobs, conducting unit testing and SIT, supporting UAT, troubleshooting, and providing bug fixes. The role also involves migrating deliverables using Aldon migration tools and providing proper documentation. Experience with SAP ECC6/SAP 4.5b, AIX7.2/Oracle 19c, and AS/400 is required. The candidate should be proficient in ABAP and Java and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.

Must have:

6-9 years of experience in techno-functional role in Finance
SAP ECC6/4.5b, AIX7.2/Oracle 19c, AS/400 experience
ABAP and Java proficiency
Control-M knowledge
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Good to have:

Java

Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities

To enhance and develop projects/Change Requests related changes and to ensure deliverables are in good quality

To participate in user requirements gathering and able to provide impact analysis and efforts estimation

To develop functionalities to cater for business requirements using Windows Scripting, SQL

To design and build the Control-M jobs for batch processing

To carry out unit testing and SIT on the developed functions

To support UAT cycle, troubleshoot the issues and provide bug fixes

To raise remedy ticket for required changes in controlled environments

To migrate deliverables objects using Aldon migration tools to UAT/Production environment

To provide proper documentation for all the deliverables

Skills

Must have

6 to 9 years of relevant experience in a techno functional role in the Financial domain

Well versed in SAP ECC6 / SAP 4.5b

Working on AIX7.2/Oracle 19c for SAP ECC6 , AS/400 for SAP 4.5b

Language: Experience with using ABAP and JAVA

Environment: Unix/Windows

Preferred to be already in the Finance & Regulatory Domain

Control M knowledge

OS used is AIX7.2 for SAP ECC6 and OS/400 for SAP 4.5b

Able to work independently with minimum guidance

Have good communication skills (to work with various Teams including users)

Able to organize and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
