About The Team
The operations team endeavours to continuously build and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the whole employee lifecycle. Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the implementation of the end-to-end process of benefits operations of the APAC region and work with country benefits analysts on day-to-day operational matters for benefits programs including but not limited to addressing benefits-related questions from employees, conducting employee surveys on benefits, etc.
2. Supporting the benefits lead to design a clear APAC benefits operation framework and administer benefits process design, stakeholders communications, enquiries, etc.
3. Partner with HRBP, HR lifecycle and C&B teams to work on compensation and benefits projects or programs and to deliver training and benefits program updates, to ensure benefits awareness among HR professionals and employees in each country about any changes to the benefits and related tax cost.
4. Identify process opportunities and potential solution ideas and partner with cross-functions on benefits systems and processes. Collaborate with the country benefits analysts to roll out new benefits initiatives, facilitating and managing employee benefits vendor relationships including employee benefits broker, health plan providers and other providers.
5. Responsible for timely and accurate benefits data collection and delivery to ensure smooth benefits execution.
6. Support payroll team leads in benefits payroll reporting (benefits calculation and taxation) for countries in the APAC region (including Japan market).
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. 5 years of working experience in benefits operations or a related HR function.
2. Solid knowledge of end-to-end benefits/insurance enrolment processes including reporting to authorities.
3. Experienced in end-to-end benefits/insurance renewal processes.
4. Possess hands on, strong functional knowledge and experience of handling Provident Fund, Private Medical Insurance and other related benefit schemes or programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Excellent planning and organizational skills with attention to details and ability to work to tight deadlines.
2. Possesses analytical skills with ability to compile data, assess trends, and identify opportunities with respect to both benefits plan design and processes.
3. Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Multitasker and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced start up environment.
5. Proven vendor management skill.
6. Proficiency in Japanese is preferred to support operations and communications with employees or stakeholders in Japan
7. Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management software.
