Job Description

As a Senior Server Developer at SuperPlay, you will own and develop the online systems powering their globally successful mobile games. Responsibilities include designing and architecting new backend features at massive scale, implementing online gameplay features (tournaments, leaderboards, clans), maintaining and improving existing features for performance and scalability, and collaborating with multiple departments. You will play a key role in establishing and building a world-class network development team. This requires strong C#, backend/server, networking, and database experience.

Must have:

3+ years technical leadership
5+ years C# experience
5+ years backend/server experience
Experience with Networking, Async programming
SQL, DDL, query planning, DB architecture
Caching systems (Redis), MySQL, ElasticSearch
Linux, Docker, Git, GitHub

Good to have:

AWS platform experience
Mobile game experience with strong server component

What will you do in SuperPlay?

Own the online systems that power our games, delivering fun to millions of users.
Design and architect new backend features operating at a massive scale.
Implement new online gameplay features like tournaments, leaderboards, and clans. Working end-to-end to ensure the best player experience possible.
Maintain and improve existing features, improving performance, increasing scalability and quality from the game feature level to the protocol level.
Collaborate with multiple departments across the studio - gameplay, design, economy, analysis - to deliver the best backend solutions to their needs.
Establish the foundations, and over time build, a world-class network development team in the studio.
