Job Description

The Senior Service Delivery Consultant will be a key member of the Professional Services team, focusing on supporting and maintaining SimCorp clients, specifically with the SimCorp Dimension solution. Responsibilities include being the point of contact for client installations, resolving issues, providing solutions, and deploying services. They will collaborate with internal teams, analyze problems, develop solutions, and ensure the quality of deliverables. The consultant will also contribute to product knowledge, client installation maintenance, and identifying opportunities to improve client configurations and introduce new service offerings. The role requires strong technical and communication skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.
Must have:
  • Experience in financial sector applications, troubleshooting issues.
  • Experience in IT department or application support.
  • Technical skills, including scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of Cloud operations (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Understanding of Financial Data Management.
Good to have:
  • Experience in maintenance of SimCorp Data Management Solution.
  • Education in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar field.
  • Advanced analytical skills.

Service Delivery Consultants are skilled professionals who form part of our Professional Services team working within Customer Services and based within the Market Units. The main purpose of the role is to ensure effective support and maintenance of SimCorp clients and to all aspects of service delivery around SimCorp Dimension.

Service Delivery Consultants support our clients by providing solutions and deploying services related to the usage of SimCorp Dimension. They work closely with local and global teams within SimCorp. Service Delivery Consultants may instruct or coach Service Delivery Associates.

What you will be responsible for

  • Be a point of contact for client installation of SimCorp Data Management Solution
  • Maintain client's installation and identify projects for improvements of client's installation Investigate and resolve issues that require product domain knowledge according to defined SLA - Analyze problems and issues which occur in SimCorp Dimension at existing clients efficiently to provide convincing and timely solutions to our clients, receiving advice and guidance only on more complex issues
  • Resolve client service requests (ad-hoc reports, license renewals, file-copies...)
  • Co-operate closely with SimCorp developers to combine business and technical know-how in analysing client issues and requirements to provide optimal solutions both from a business and technical perspective
  • Take part in validation and testing activities as needed
  • Ensure high quality of all deliverables provided to the client
  • Build and maintain Product knowledge base
  • Maintain client installation information
  • Provide feedback to Product Division and Global Standards on product quality and client needs
  • Support implementing projects to improve existing client installations
  • Where possible identify where clients can use standard configurations versus bespoke solutions and move clients to standard configurations
  • Identify and drive development new Service Offerings with focus on bringing optimal value to our clients
  • Identify where clients can use new license modules & services
  • Become trusted adviser of our clients around the world

What we value

  • Experience with operating standard applications in the financial sector, fixing technical problems, resolving issues, and being an SME for application usage
  • Experience in working in a larger IT department or operational Team or Application support on L2 or L3 levels
  • Technical skills
  • Examples: PL/SQL scripting, XML/XSL, json/yaml, Powershell scripting or similar scripting language
  • Knowledge of Cloud operations (AWS, Azure) is a good addition
  • Basic business understanding of Financial Data Management (reference data, portfolio pricing, corporate actions)
  • Experience in maintenance of SimCorp Data Management Solution (Formerly GAIN product)
  • Education in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, or similar academic background
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities, with an emphasis on attentive listening
  • An engaged perspective and a steady drive to overcome obstacles
  • Motivated, committed, and result-oriented

Other requirements

  • APAC shift hours (May change depending on business needs)
  • Hybrid working arrangement (2x a week in office)
