The Senior Specialist, Employer Branding will lead content strategy, collaborating with US and South Korean teams to highlight employee experience, culture, inclusion, and CSR initiatives. Responsibilities include creating engaging content for internal and external audiences across various platforms (SharePoint, careers website, social media), managing content development projects, fostering freelance/agency relationships, conducting social listening, and optimizing platform strategies. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and creative skills, along with experience managing social media channels and content creation tools.

What You’ll Do

Are you a storyteller with a passion for amplifying the voices of others? We’re seeking an Employer Branding Specialist to share stories about life at Samsung Semiconductor to strategically attract, engage, and retain top talent.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters three days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

Reports to: Talent Acquisition Operations Manager

  • Lead content strategy in collaboration with teams in the US and South Korea, highlighting employee experience, company culture, inclusion, wellness, STEM programming, community events, talent attraction initiatives, and corporate social responsibility.
  • Create and identify moments for engagement, developing inspiring and informative content for internal and external audiences.
  • Manage content development projects across platforms (e.g., SharePoint intranet, event collateral, job descriptions, careers website, presentations, email newsletters) to maintain consistent brand standards while increasing engagement.
  • Facilitate freelance and agency relationships, driving projects to completion through partnership, feedback, and accountability in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct social listening, monitoring our social media platforms and analyzing sentiment trends.
  • Optimize our platform strategies by researching best practices, emerging tech, market trends, communication channels, and competitor activity.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

  •  Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, Business, Design, History) with 3+ years of relevant industry experience preferred. Equivalent experience accepted.
  • Experience managing social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, Medium, The Muse), with an understanding of each platform’s unique context and audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience creating content (copy and visuals) with hands-on application of tools like Canva, Animoto, Grammarly, and Chat GPT.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills demonstrated through copywriting and content development.
  • You’re inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.
  • An avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.
  • You’re collaborative, building relationships, humbly offering support, and openly welcoming approaches.

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range

$91,280 - $132,720 USD
