NCR's Digital Banking CSP organization is looking for an experienced UI Frontend Architect to join our team. Digital Banking provides a comprehensive set of cloud-native banking services and applications built on a single common platform accessible anytime, anywhere from any device. The UI Frontend Architect is responsible for working closely with the Lead Solution Architect, Product Management, Software Development, and UI Designers to drive strategic architecture decisions and provide guidance for implementing UI product enhancements. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative and versatile individual. He/she has deep experience with interaction design, is fluent in web and mobile information architecture, and can translate functional objectives into detailed specifications. Responsibilities Work closely with Lead UI Architect and UX/UI Designer to design and develop clean, intuitive and reusable UI architectures and components Conduct industry research on best practices for information architecture, interaction and usability design, performance, component reusability and content strategy and help turn that information into roadmaps, designs, processes and implementations Work with UX tools for various stages of development (wireframing and prototyping, user research and testing, analytics and metrics) Leverage and contribute to enterprise design patterns, interface guidelines and accessibility compliance standards Work with team leads to review and finalize designs Provide guidance to Software Developers on building ReactJS UI applications Help to implement POC systems/demoes as required for NCR products Perform code reviews and provide guidance on UI coding best practices for multiple UI Development teams across multiple global locations Help to implement UI applications via hands on coding where needed Analyze the implication of changes and enhancements Performance testing inputs, improvement analysis and suggestions Work closely with the Sales team to assist with presentations, demos, etc. Customer interaction as needed
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Min 12+ Experience
  • Extensive JavaScript (5-7 years) and/or ReactJS (approx. 5 years) development experience with emphasis on intuitive UX/UI
  • Exceptional knowledge of JavaScript Frameworks and Authentication Flows
  • Expertise in RESTFul APIs
  • Experience in Enterprise Architecture
  • Exceptional understanding of web components
  • Experience with CSS and SASS/LESS
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in Agile software development methodology
  • Independent, self-managed, and motivated
  • Ability to break down complex problems and provide easy to understand solutions (and/or code examples)
  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership
Good to have:
  • Experience with Docker builds and deployment
  • Experience with Cloud multi-tenant architecture and deployment
  • Experience working with Scaled Agile such as SAFe
  • Experience with GitHub, TestCafe, and Cucumber JS
  • Understanding of Web Accessibility and familiarity with WCAG
  • Experience in the financial industry is a plus

TITLE: UI Frontend Architect

LOCATION: Hyderabad, India

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Lead UI Architect and UX/UI Designer to design and develop clean, intuitive and reusable UI architectures and components
