This Solution Area Specialist - Azure role focuses on delivering high-value customer solutions and driving cloud consumption growth. Responsibilities include opportunity ownership, developing impactful points of view, building strong customer and partner relationships, accelerating cloud adoption through projects and programs, and continuous skill development. The role requires extensive experience in technology sales or account management, preferably with a global system integrator or Microsoft partner, and a strong focus on solution or services sales within infrastructure or data. The position involves working with the wider account team to drive consumption through Industry Solutions projects and programs, adhering to Microsoft processes, and achieving deal excellence.

As an experienced consulting specialist seller this role will give you the opportunity to accelerate your career growth, growing your solution area expertise, developing leads, qualification of strategic opportunities and ownership through to successful deal closure, leveraging cutting edge solutions for customers that grow cloud consumption.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Qualifications


• Extensive experience in technology-related sales or account management experience preferably with a either a global system integrator or Microsoft deployment partner
• Extensive experience in solution or services sales preferably with the infrastructure or data arena

 

Responsibilities

The role is is responsible for:
• Opportunity Ownership – Championing the customer outcome through the sales journey and closing opportunities as per business requirements.
• Providing an impactful point of view (POV) where Industry Solutions (IS) can accelerate consumption, aligned to the opportunities that the Microsoft cloud portfolio enables including migration and modernization.
• Role modelling and demonstrating customer and partner obsession through customer business outcomes leveraging solution area expertise.
• Accelerating Cloud growth: Working seamlessly with the wider account team, building and strengthening relationships across the Microsoft teams to drive consumption through Industry Solutions projects and programs.
• Continuously building sales expertise, learning and evolving Industry and solution knowledge to support customers and the wider one Microsoft team and investing in personal development.
• Deal excellence: Championing and adhering to Microsoft processes and methodologies, on strategy selling, pipeline hygiene and close plan ownership.
